Grow Lights

Supplemental lighting is essential for maintaining consistent plant growth and maximizing yields, particularly during periods of limited natural sunlight such as early Spring and Fall. Grow lights are mandatory if growing year round or early Spring and again in the Fall. There are also benefits to some plant species by using grow lights more frequently. T5 lights are generally used for seedlings and are easily raised as the starts begin to get some vertical. 1000W lights are used when your starts are moved to the growing/maturing location (e.g. planting boxes).
