Planting Boxes

MCG has a local sawmill cut all of our wood products to our specs and planting boxes can be constructed to your exact specifications. We have found that boxes located on the side(s), a good width is 30-34″ as much wider and you are reaching to tend crops on the far side. Center boxes can be much wider at around 5′ since you are able to access from both sides. A good height is 22″ as this allows to sit on the side of the box, on a bucket or similar, and be comfortable. All of our boxes are built to withstand many years of use which is accomplished by applying a liquid rubber (plant, fish and human safe) to the interior and the exterior is lightly burned with a torch followed by a high quality stain.
